My approach to real estate parallels my life philosophy: establish a goal and do everything ethically and legally possible to achieve that goal. I love my job and attribute my success with clients to my “full service” philosophy. I work with buyers and sellers every step of the way to ensure that their transactions are smooth and worry-free for them, from beginning to successful close. Let me put my enthusiasm, energy, professionalism, and commitment to personalized customer service to work for you!
My professional experience is diverse. As a grammarian, I’ve held many positions involving writing and editing. I worked as an international compensation analyst for two major financial institutions before starting a family in the early 1980s. Before becoming active in real estate in 1999, I had two retail shops in Christmas Tree Village in Incline Village. There I met a huge segment of the local population and was able to build not only lasting friendships but also an impressive client base. I have consistently been a top producer in Incline Village.
Originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, I lived primarily in the southeastern part of the United States until the mid-1970s. I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington; graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in English; and continued graduate studies in literature at Florida International University.
I moved to Incline Village from Pasadena, CA in the mid-1990s. My husband, David, is a consultant; and daughter Katie, a gifted artist, is pursuing her dream of working in Los Angeles as a cartoonist.
I am a past president of the Incline Village Board of REALTORS®. In addition, I held many positions in the Incline Village/Crystal Bay Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, including the president. Other past affiliations include the Board of Directors of The Children’s Cabinet at Incline Village, Assistance League of Southern California, and National Charity League. I am currently a member of the American Association of University Women.
